The Brooklyn College Musical Theatre Collective Presents: Sondheim on Sondheim
Performance on acoustic bass.
"Sondheim on Sondheim" is a multimedia musical portrait conceived and directed by James Lapine that blends live performances of Stephen Sondheim’s songs with video interviews and archival footage of the composer himself. More than a traditional revue, it offers an intimate look at Sondheim’s creative process and personal reflections, reimagining numbers from shows like Company, Follies, and Into the Woods as part of a candid dialogue between the artist and his work — a vivid, insightful tribute to one of musical theatre’s most original voices.
